Sorry it's been a while...
I have a shit load of news!

I left my job at the toy store, I was so sick of this place, I've been there for 3 years.
I found a new job in a bookstore, but I'm in the writing department: 300$ Mont Blanc pens, italian leather wallets, etc. It's kinda nice, but my job consists mostly in dusting and I'm already sick of it after a month...
Yesterday I had a job interview at the Château Ramesay Museum, an old mansion from the New France era! I'd be a guide-animator, in an ancient costume! I wish I will get it!!!
And... I'm FUCKING GOING TO NYC!!!! During the fall break, from October 26 to 28, with my boyfriend! :D I can't wait to see Central Park in the fall, it'll be like You've Got Mail!!! <3

School is going great, I only have two classes. I hate the Philosophy one, and the teacher, but I do love the other one, History of ecology and environment! I only have those two left, and then.... I'M GONNA HAVE MY DIPLOMA!!!

Got new shoes!
My old pair had holes in the soles, my feet were completely soaked when it rained.

So I went shopping with Bobby yesterday. I found a really nice pair of Keds flats for 30$

They're so nice, the pattern is made of school doodles, like Tic Tac Toe, Hangman Game, the value of Pi, some equations with cosinus, and even "I will not chew gum in class"!!!
I love them so much!

Don't feel like writing in English, sorry...

J'ai eu une indigestion / une mini gastro mardi et mercredi, ce qui fait que j'ai perdu une journée complète que j'étais censée consacrée à mes travaux scolaires. Ça fait fucking chier, étant donné que les deadline arrivent à grand pas: travail de 30 pages sur Delphes à remettre le 15 juin, et travail sur l'Antiquité et le cinéma à remettre le 16 juin. So, aucune vie sociale jusqu'à la mi-juin. J'ai vachement peur, d'autant plus que le deuxième travail est nettement plus intéressant que le premier, alors j'ai envie de m'y consacrer exclusivement.
Et j'ai un gros guilt-trip parce que j'ai passé mon mois de mai à rien crisser et à entretenir ma vie sociale, sans travailler :(
Au moins j'ose espérer que je me suis rassasiée en vie sociale, et qu'ainsi j'aurai pas l'envie soudaine d'aller prendre une bière ou faire la fiesta plutôt que de travailler. Un souci de moins, étant donné que les Thomas (mes partenaires-beuverie officiels), sont au Viet Nam, mais il reste quand même Joanie qui risque fort de vouloir qu'on se voit en fin de semaine... (Sois forte, Émilie, résiste!!!)

Pas eu de nouvelles pour les jobs, ils étaient censés appeler hier... Bobby m'a dit de les rappeler pour manifester mon intérêt, mais ça me gêne...

It's been a while, isn't it?
The winter semester is finished except for my 30 pages essay I have to hand out on June 15.
The summer semester is going well, it's fascinating (History of Rome).

And I have two job interviews on Tuesday! Both are the same job but at two different companies. It'd be in groceries, offering beer/wine/cooler tastings. Sounds great, and it pays! 13-14$ an hour!!!

I'm a bit nervous, I never really had a job interview before... At the bakery, they called me for an interview, I dressed up, with little heels and all, and when I got there, she said "An interview? You begin now!" And at the toystore, she asked me if I knew any board games and if I could climb up a ladder, so...

So, remember when I told you about Mathias Mental? Well, I went to his CD launching last night, and it was so fun! He played songs from both his albums and it was great! The crowd was nice too, clapping and singing (well it was mostly his friends, so they knew the songs :P)
I don't want to have to tell you again, GO GIVE HIM SOME LOVE, HIS SONGS ARE GREAT!!! :D

And tonight is the wrap party for the completing of Alpha Omega, the movie Bobby was working on this semester. They will show most of the movies they made, and some other personnal projects of the guys on the team.
And it's beautiful outside, and weather forecasts says it will be warm, so I'll wear my yellow dress!!! ^_^

And even though the winter semester is still not finished (thanks to the teachers' strike) the summer one just began, and I'm taking Rome: History and Civilisation, with a really great teacher! She's so crazy (in a good way) and she gave me a great idea of subject for the paper we have to do. We must do a bibliography (cause we don't have enough time in a month and a half to do that AND write the actual paper), and she told me I could do it on "perception of Antique Rome in movies", like Spartacus, Gladiator, Ben Hur, etc... I can't wait to work on it! But... I have a Greek translation due Wednesday, a take-home Egypt exam due Thursday, and I still gotta work on my 30 pages essay due on June 15.

So, yeah, basically that was almost a Things I Love Thursday.
Except we're Friday. :P
